Good environmental practices on dairy farms in the wet climate of the Fraser Valley requires the provision of high volume covered manure storage. This 4,000 square foot by 8-foot deep concrete manure pit can be utilized 100% to store up to 230,000 gallons (870 m3) of manure, without
additional allowance being required on account of annual precipitation. The simple MegaDome® structure has full-open ends to provide good ventilation while reducing building costs.
