A Green Solution – This 32-acre greenhouse produces peppers and tons of wet green wastes. A 10,000 sq. ft MegaDome® (the second constructed for this purpose) provides ample space for bio-drying the green-waste on an Airfloor® air-entrained concrete slab. The contaminants—consisting of
clips and twine—are removed by screening, and the clean organics are then field applied. The grower benefits by reducing the waste hauling costs and disposal fees.
