Thompson Creek Metals

Thompson Creek Metals / Mt. Milligan Mines was necessitated to re-construct its 9,000 SF ore load-out facility, after the existing building with its widely-spaced trusses collapsed after a winter snow-storm. The replacement MegaDome® structure features extra heavyduty galvanized-steel clear-span truss roof; and the existing foundation are re-constructed to support the combined building, snow, wind and bulk storage loads.

The result is a functional and energy-efficient facility that is fully compliant with the current BC Building Code.
