Unlike competing fabric structures, our frame's pre-galvanized rust preventative is not burned off in the process of welding. By using lower temperature welds over longer time and applying more welding material using special CWB certified welding procedures, this exclusive Silicon Bronze Welding technique preserves the galvanizing even inside the frame itself, making for a longer lasting structure. For those industries that need even more structural corrosion protection, we also offer yet another exlusive to Megadomes, a super duty, Hot Dipped Galvanizing option. A life expectancy of 50 years in general use; and 25+ years in corrosive industrial use is possible with hot-dip galvanized steel arches. Even further protection for use in extremely corrosive environments can be achieved with epoxy or vinyl coatings.

CHOOSE AN EXPERIENCED BUILDER   

While MegaDome fabric buildings are factory engineered and essentially quite simple to erect; there are still many design, construction and permitting issues to be considered, for which it is highly recommended to work with a dealer who’s also an experienced builder; who has experience with all facets of construction; who is able to handle the building erection efficiently and safely; and who can deliver a quality project. An experienced builder will also be there to provide warranty work and after-sales service.

BRIGHT NATURAL LIGHT INTERIORS The white fabric (the most popular choice) is translucent, allowing natural diffused daylight to enter the building. While electric lighting may be installed for nighttime use, it is not necessary for daytime use. The result is a very pleasant and natural environment, and energy savings.

COOL IN SUMMER The white fabric reflects the summer heat, and is very effective in providing a cool interior. While one might ‘cook an egg’ on the galvanized metal roof of a conventional pole building, the fabric roof remains relatively cool.
